National workshop on personal and household services: the role of social dialogue in the context of challenges for the sector in Poland

Man delivers a lecture to a large group of people in a seminar room.

This workshop in Poland will explore the role of social dialogue in the context of challenges for the personal and household services field.

On 26 January, 11:00 - 15:00 CET, the PERHOUSE project will host a hybrid workshop on the role of social dialogue in the context of challenges for the personal and household services sector at the Institute of Sociology at Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin and online.

Register

In the PERHOUSE project, studying working conditions and social dialogue in the field of personal and household services (PHS) in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe is a top priority. With this, the project partners defined OGS as a wide range of services performed in and for households, especially childcare and assistance to the elderly and disabled, cleaning, minor repairs and other household work.

Event overview

The aim of the seminar part is to characterise and analyse the challenges of service provision and working conditions in the personal and household services (PHS) sector in Poland. During the meeting, the preliminary results of the scientific research carried out as part of the project will be presented. The main objective of the workshop is an in-depth analysis and strengthening the social dialogue in the PHS sector in Poland, so the participation of the widest possible range of social actors is particularly encouraged.
