Key areas of work
We must take concrete steps to transform services into person-centered models that empower individuals, while positioning service providers as key drivers of this shift toward a human rights-based approach.

Accessibilitech project closes in Brussels in January 2023!
After 2 years of working towards making the digital space more accessible for people with disabilities by focusing on inclusive telework, e-learning and telecare, ACCESSIBILITECH is hosting a closing conference. Taking palce on 18th January 2023, 09h00-16h00 CET in Brussels, the project will present a search engine that identifies accessible technologies and solutions for issues regarding telework, e-learning and telehealth.
Raising awareness among European policy makers regarding the importance of developing accessible and inclusive technologies in telework, eLearning and online care services will also be the aim of the closing conference. Inmaculada Placiencia Porrero, senior expert in Disability and Inclusion in the General Directorate of Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion of the European Commission.
The panels will dive deeper into how the current digital transition can empower accessible technology. The workshops will be set in a slightly different way, with a more interactive approach, encouraging dialogue and debate between participants and the speakers.
