In this training, we will cover various aspects such as:
- International Standards and Best Practices for Drafting Disability Rights Legislations (i.e. what are some of the major and most important international standards and best practices for drafting and amending disability rights legislation? How can we ensure that these amendments lead to a legislation that is meant to help persons with disabilities live a more rewarding and fulfilling life?)
- Select Countries’ Legislative Amendments for Disability Rights as Case Studies (i.e. we will learn how other countries have amended their laws to better protect the rights of persons with disabilities, what went well for them and what could have been done differently for a more desirable outcome).
- Advancing inclusive social services in rural Europe: INSPIRE project kicks off
