Enhancing equal participation of people with disabilities in the workplace

13 adults stand outside on a worksite and are all gathered around various outdoor tools, such as a large shovel and a big rake, to learn about workplace safety in their line of work.

We all have the right to work, and the right to a high level of protection of health and safety at work! Join us for the Safe4All project final event which will explore practical tools, trainings' tips and policy recommendations to improve safety & health in the workplace of persons with disabilities.

This project brings together 7 partners from 5 EU countries and is funded by the European Commission Erasmus+ Program. Safe4All was born due to the lack of adaptability and inclusivity of existing OSH standards to the specific needs of persons with disabilities in the workplace. During the event, partners will present interactively the three key project results:

  • a Handbook for Inclusive Vocational Training (a collection of good practices)
  • a Toolkit Training for Trainers (e-learning course)
  • Policy recommendations (for EU stakeholders and national authorities)

The aim of the project is to foster safer workplaces for all, not just some, to promote social inclusion, independent living, decent quality of life and equal employment opportunities in line with UNCRPD and EU values.

The event will take place on Tuesday 20th February 2024 from 13h30 to 17h30 in Mundo-b, Rue d'Edimbourg 26, 1050, Brussels.

For any further information please contact Benedetta Galeazzi, Policy Assistant at EASPD.

We look forward to seeing you there!
