For a transition to inclusive education in schools it is necessary to educate and equip service providers for persons with disabilities and special schools.  This training manual is for the use of trainers who will deliver the BEYOND inclusive education training course. This training course will promote the acquisition of skills and competencies amongst service providers and special schools to support mainstream schools with the transition towards inclusive settings.

Alongside the training manual, a new massive open online course is available for free on the EASPD D-lot platform. This course is aimed at those working in social services in the field of education and special schools. The BEYOND online course consists of 5 books that can be completed at each user’s own pace.

‘To Inclusive Education and BEYOND ‘(BEYOND) is a Erasmus+ funded project, which aims to empower special schools and service providers supporting children with special needs, to facilitate the transition towards fully inclusive education systems.
