The UNIC project closed this Septemeber after 3 years of dedcated work among the project partners to work on personal budgets for persons with disabilties. The closing conference came with alot of achievemetns, debates and questions for the future. 

The conference took place in Brussels with over 80 participants discussing how to capitalise the current momentum of personal budgets and transfor support for persons with disabilities. highlighting the importance of personal budgets, we need to keep in mind that this system supports and increases the voice and choice of people with disabilties over their own life.

Together, EASPD and the UNIC partners call on national and European decision-makers to further support the development and scaling up of these innovative and effective approaches.
