A half marathon will take place on 23rd April 2023 in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert to raise awareness on the importance of mental health.

Despite being a cornerstone to live a happy life, the topic of mental health is still often stigmatised and not enough taken into consideration. Society runs faster and faster, often leaving us exhausted and burnt out.

To shed light on this issue, Iasis together with other European organisations will host the Semi Marathon for Mental Health  in Brussels on 23rd April 2023.  Starting from the Municipality of Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, runners will have the chance to run the 15km or 6km race, taking part as individual participants or in groups.

The goal of this competition is not only to raise awareness on the importance of mental health, but also to offer participants the chance to take care of their own mental health. According to science, running and physical activity are crucial to reducing stress and anxiety, improving your mood, and boosting your self-esteem.
