Promising Practices for the Transfer of Knowledge for Inclusive Education
Access to a high-quality education is a fundamental right for all learners, including learners with a disability, as is enshrined in Article 24 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
Despite this right, the achievement of quality, inclusive education systems is yet to become a reality across Europe. To promote the transfer of knowledge between the relevant education institutions and actors EASPD has launched a report on the transition from special education to inclusive education systems.
This event will present the report alongside a number of promising practices which promote the transfer of knowledge between special education providers and mainstream schools. As well as providing practical guidance, the event will identify the key success factors for the promotion of the transfer of knowledge and policy recommendations for key stakeholders.
