Join an Inclusive Education Training in Austria!

EASPD is hosting the 9th edition of the 'Building an Inclusive School for All' Training.

High quality inclusive education is a right for all, but not often a reality. In order to help change that EASPD is hosting the 9th edition of the 'Building an Inclusive School for All' Training. It will be a week-long training course in English, held between 21st-26th April 2024 at the University of Education Salzburg, in Salzburg, Austria.

The course is aimed at educators - school headteachers, middle management, teachers and teaching assistants, educational guides and counsellors, inspectors, and administrative staff. It is important for those wanting to provide inclusive education to not only understand the context in which they will be operating (such as being familiar with the UN Convention on the Right of Persons with Disabilities), but to also have structures such as an Index for Inclusion, and strategic planning and change management in place. These are just some of the things that the training will cover. It will offer both a conceptual framework as well as hands on experience to learn how to approach the possible challenges and move towards inclusive education.

Throughout the course there will be alternation between information and discovery sessions, and discussion groups, peer group support and reflection sessions. The course is coordinated by the Member Forum on Education of EASPD and organised by a group of European organisations and universities involved in the development of inclusive education across Europe.

The participation fee for the course is €100 for low GDP countries, and €350 for high GDO countries. Register here!
