The Bulgarian non-profit organisation For Our Children (FOC) has over 30 years experience in providing professional social services for vulnerable children and families in Bulgaria. Currently, FOC manages two complexes for early childhood development, one in Bulgaria’s capital, Sofia, and the other in the second biggest city, Plovdiv.  

In 2023, FOC started planning the development of its third multifunctional early childhood development complex in the town of Bankya, Sofia municipality. The Foundation aims to involve children, families, and other stakeholders in co-designing the new complex. To do so, the organisation has launched a call for an international Consultant to produce a concept paper for a child-friendly facility representing a single point of access for young children and their families.  

The complex is set to provide multidisciplinary services by gathering health, social services and education professionals, which will be working together and alongside the children’s families.  

The estimated duration of the Consultant’s assignment is at most ten working days, with a planned start date on 1 October. The Consultant will be able to combine remote work with one on-site visit in October or November 2024.
