Apply now for travel grants to attend EASPD's Athens Conference

To support the participation of members in its Athens Conference and GA, EASPD is offering grants of up to €400.

Between 17-18 October EASPD and the NET will host their international conference ‘Opening Doors: how can disability support services unlock the open labour market?’ in Athens, Greece. The conference will focus on how disability service providers, businesses and policymakers can work together to create more opportunities for people with disabilities on the open labour market.

The conference will also host EASPD’s General Assembly (GA) and Governance Elections on 19th October. All Executive Committee and Board positions are open for election. EASPD full member organisations in attendance of the GA will have the opportunity to vote for their preferred candidate in these elections.

To support the participation of EASPD members in the conference and the GA, EASPD is offering grants of up to €400 to cover travel and/or accommodation costs.

Terms and conditions for eligibility of this grant

  • EASPD full-member organisations are eligible to receive a grant.
  • Organisations are only eligible to receive one grant.
  • To receive the payment, selected candidates will be required to publish at least one article on their organisation’s website to promote registrations for the conference before the event and a second article on their experiences at the conference after the event.
  • The grant will be provided after the submission of the costs and proofs following the reimbursement procedures which will be sent to you if your grant application is approved. You may use the grant to cover the travel, hotel and subsistence costs.
  • The organisation must have provided a response to EASPD's Membership Survey.
  • Attendance at EASPD meetings and events is required to receive the grant. This includes attendance to the:
    • Conference: 17-18 Oct
    • General Assembly: 19 October
    • Member Fora Meetings: Taking place on the 16-18 October.
