The 2026 edition of the EASPD Innovation Awards focuses on highlighting practices that foster organisational change in disability support services, with the aim of strengthening the capacity of organisations to provide person-centred support in line with the principles of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD).

The EASPD Innovation Awards provide an opportunity to discover innovative practices that promote inclusion and support the full enjoyment of the human rights of persons with disabilities. In this context, the Awards aim to learn from service providers that have developed new and effective approaches to organisational development and service transformation.

The Awards also seek to explore the challenges and opportunities encountered by these innovative practices, their impact on organisations and persons with disabilities, and the ways in which such practices can be transferred to other contexts while remaining sustainable, accessible and effective.

This year’s edition particularly welcomes practices related to:

• human resources management;
• communication, partnerships and marketing;
• financial management and planning;
• capacity building for the digital and green transition;
• leadership and change management.
