DIGIT-ABLE: Driving Digital Transition for Social Enterprises for Inclusion
Building on the groundwork laid by the B-WISE Erasmus+ Blueprint project, that focused on supporting the development of basic digital skills. DIGIT-ABLE takes a leap forward, addressing the barriers that hinder WISEs and service providers for persons with disabilities in accessessing advanced digital tools and technologies. This help in ensuring a comprehensive digital transition of services of services for people with disabilities.
Aims
DIGIT-ABLE aims at enhancing the capacities and skills of Social Enterprises, WISEs and service providers, with a specific focus on those providing services to people with disabilities. The project will:
- Conduct a Digital Needs Assessment and Mapping: to understand the most effective type of capacity-building activities and digital support services for boosting the digital transition of the target groups.
- Establish Digital Innovation and Acceleration Hubs in each targeted country to facilitate the collaboration between the service providers and tech companies to support the target groups in their digital transformation strategy by boosting digital skills.
- Create Digital Transition Pathways through Capacity Building and Training for Social Enterprises, WISEs and service providers, as well as their enabling organisations addressing their digital needs.
- Provide Financial Support to third parties to Promote Transnational Collaboration and Cross-Border Cooperation and to increase the amount of digitally skilled Social Economy Enterprise (SEE) workforce.
