Join CBM Italy's Exchange Forum on 17 September

CBM Italy's Exchange Forum will explore gender-based violence against women with disabilities. Join at the European Parliament or online.

On 17 September, from 10:00 to 13:00, EASPD member CBM Italy is organising an Exchange Forum on best practices to tackle intersectional discrimination against women with disabilities. The event will feature a roundtable discussion on good practices in addressing intersectional discrimination, particularly against women with disabilities, and will launch a new community of practice.

This is a unique opportunity to:

  • Gain awareness of the unique challenges faced by women with disabilities.
  • Learn from experts and exchange good practices with leading organisations.
  • Contribute to the conversation and help shape a new knowledge sharing practice to combat these issues beyond the event.

The event will take place in person at the European Parliament (Room Spinelli 1H1) and will also be livestreamed.

For in-person attendance, register by 5 September 2025.

Follow the livestream on Youtube.

The Forum is organised in the framework of the CARE-INT project, which aims to equip care professionals with essential skills to address and prevent gender-based violence against women with disabilities. Implemented in Italy and the Netherlands, the project will train over 100 people including vocational students, professionals from the social sector and vocational school teachers.
