Risk Management in NGOs: why does it matter?

Interpretation between English and Romanian and real time captioning will be made available during this webinar.
Risk management is the process of identifying, assessing, and controlling threats to an organisation's capital and earnings. These risks can stem from a variety of sources including financial uncertainties, legal liabilities, technology issues, strategic management errors, accidents and natural disasters.
Risk Management is an important, but often neglected process that NGOs and civil society organisations, including social services, should implement and regularly review.
As a result, European Association of Service providers for Persons with Disabilities (EASPD) and the Alliance of Organisations working with the disabled people from Moldova (AOPD) will be a co-hosting a webinar on the 7th of October at 14:00 CEST.
This webinar will:
- Provide initial guidance on the general aspects of the risk analysis and management process,
- Present possible models for analyzing and managing risks, for both the organization, users and staff
- Explore examples of how organizations can adjust their activities in order to reduce impact of the risks and crisis situations above organisation.
