Job description

EASPD is currently looking for a Project & Innovation Assistant willing to enrich their resume with a working experience in EASPD’s headquarters, in Brussels. The person will work directly with and under the supervision of EASPD’s Head of Projects and in close cooperation with other members of the team. The work would involve covering a broad variety of topics in the field of human rights and social services.

Expected tasks:

  • Support in implementation of running projects: EASPD develops, coordinates, and takes part in various European projects through funding such as Erasmus+, CERV, ESF+, and Horizon Europe.
  • Assistance in the development of new projects: assist team members in drafting applications for new projects, by researching data, preparing administrative documentation. This will allow you to get a hands on experience and learning of project development process.
  • Prepare and sent out biweekly newsletter on funding opportunities to members.

  • Support in organisation of events in different projects (both online and face-to-face).

  • Dissemination activities, such as preparing content for social media posts on projects.

  • Collaboration with the other EASPD teams.

 

Job requirements

Essential:

  • Higher education degree (minimum 3 years).
  • Oral and written fluency in English and at least one additional European language.
  • Capacity to work in a team and to share your knowledge and expertise.
  • Excellent research and writing skills in English (other languages are an asset).
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, familiarity with visual creation tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe suite) and basic IT skills.

Terms of the contract

  • A 6-month contract under the Belgian Convention d’Immersion Professionelle (CIP) format.

  • The selected person must have a valid permit to work and live in the EU/Belgium.

  • The workstation is the EASPD headquarters in Brussels (BE). The work schedule is minimum 3 days in the office per week.

  • Contract 38 hours per week; remuneration at approximately 1035,20€ per month.

  • Starting date: approximately 15 February.
