On May 13, 2021, the “Close to You” Foundation (ADV Romania), one of EASPD members, is organising the Enterprising for Tomorrow - Social Entrepreneurship & Youth Engagement Conference.

The event will bring together EU-level leaders, government and policy leaders, social entrepreneurs, investors, foundation and nonprofit leaders from Romania, Republic of Moldova and Ukraine, to engage in a virtual dialogue around Social Enterprise, to educate and inspire investment in positive impact.

As active promoters of the social economy, ADV Foundation Romania, the organisation which helped shape the legislative framework for social economy in Romania and Republic of Moldova, aims to create a thought leadership platform for the accelerating movement towards an inclusive and sustainable economy.

The Enterprising for Tomorrow Conference is a full-day hybrid event, joined by 28 speakers, with an audience of about 300 people from the European Union, Republic of Moldova, and Ukraine. The event will be live streamed from Iasi, Romania –  the city that put on the map of Europe models of good practice in the social economy and brought to Romania the EY Social Entrepreneur of the Year 2016 award!
