Freedom without limits: young people with disabilities at SZIGET Festival in Budapest
Have you ever wondered what is it like to party as a young person with disabilities at the SZIGET Festival in Budapest, Hungary?
In a short movie created by our Hungarian member Never Give Up Foundation, Paulik Fecó, a painter and creative artist living with severe disabilities, and Soós Ákos, a training team leader, demonstrate that true freedom transcends physical limitations.
This year, the self-advocate group of the Never Give Up Foundation returned to the XS Land area of the SZIGET Festival. Not only were they enthusiastic participants, but they also played an active role in shaping a festival experience that was inclusive, accessible, and barrier-free for all.
The video is filmed in the spirit of "Nothing about us without us" and aims to communicate that, sometimes, a new perspective changes everything.
