EESC launches the 16th Civil Society Prize on combating poverty

The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) has launched the 16th EESC Civil Society Prize, dedicated to highlighting initiatives that are making a difference in the fight against poverty across the European Union. The prize provides an opportunity to showcase projects that contribute to a more inclusive, cohesive and socially resilient Europe.

To be eligible, initiatives must:

  • Be carried out on a not-for-profit basis.
  • Be led by an individual, civil society organisation, or private company registered or operating within the European Union.
  • Have already been implemented or be ongoing by the application deadline.

Award information:

  • €30,000 will be distributed among up to three winners.

Deadline:

  • 6 November 2026 at 10:00 CET.
