EDF launches a call for youth workers for Act4DYS pilot training

The European Disability Forum (EDF) is currently implementing the Act4DYS project, a European initiative aimed at engaging young people with disabilities in urban development processes across four European countries, including Belgium. The project seeks to strengthen inclusive participation by equipping young people with the knowledge and skills needed to take an active role in shaping urban environments.
As part of the project activities, EDF is developing a training package designed to support young people with disabilities in understanding and contributing to urban development processes.
Online training session in May
An online training session will take place in the second half of May as part of the piloting phase. For this session, the project is looking for 15 youth workers with experience or at least basic knowledge of working with young people with fewer opportunities, including young people with disabilities.
After the training, each participant will receive a certificate of completion. Then, in June, an additional session will be organised to test a set of mini-games available on the project website, focused on urban development. Participants in the pilot training will be warmly encouraged to take part in this second activity as well.
