Contribute to NADD-Wright State University Global Study

NADD along with Wright University are conducting a research which requires service providers to fill in surveys on the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on the treatment and support of individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health conditions

NADD (National Association for the Dually Diagnosed), an Association for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities and Mental Health Needs, in partnership with the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and Osceola Research and Evaluation, is conducting a research study to explore the perceptions of the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on the treatment and support of individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health conditions by clinical professionals and service providers.

For this research, service providers are encouraged to fill in the survey by 19th August 2022.

This survey can be completed in 10-15 minutes with 20 language options to choose from and can be accessed here.

The purpose of this study is to learn what these professionals, from around the world,  did to pivot and respond quickly to the unplanned circumstances we all faced in our work with individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health challenges; to learn which strategies worked and which strategies did not.

The participation in this survey is completely voluntary and none of the responses will be connected to identifying information. They will only be used for statistical purposes and will be reported only in aggregated form.

This survey has been granted approval in accordance with the Wright State University Institutional Review Board research requirements. More information on the policy can be found here.
