Apply now to stand for election for EASPD’s Board

Due to recent role changes and the stepping down of two Board members, EASPD is pleased to announce that two positions on its Board are now open for election:
- Co-Chair of the Member Forum on Person-Centred Technology
- Board Member without portfolio
Elections to fill these positions for the current mandate (2024-2028) will take place at our next General Assembly on 22 October in Turin, Italy. With this in mind, EASPD invites representatives of full-member organisations to apply for these roles.
Are you eligible to apply for the Board?
Representatives of full EASPD member organisations are eligible to stand for election. To qualify, the organisation nominating a candidate must have paid its membership fees from the year of entry into EASPD up to and including 2025, or comply with their individual membership agreement, where applicable. Please note that candidates do not need to be the legal representative of their organisation.
Candidates should hold a senior position (e.g. Director, Board Member, CEO, etc.) within their organisation, and their candidacy must be supported by their employer. This support must be confirmed through the candidate’s declaration form.
How long is the mandate of these positions?
Those elected to these positions will have a mandate until October 2028, ending at the same time as the current board’s mandate. The time served by the ‘replacement’ Board members during this period shall not be included in any time calculation for time served on the Board, when considering a candidate’s future eligibility to stand for another term as a Board member.
How can you apply?
To apply, please submit your application to EASPD Membership Officer, Ángela Corbí at by 16 September 23h59 CEST. Your application should include the following documents:
