Travel Grants available for EASPD’s 30th Anniversary Conference in Brussels

EASPD is pleased to announce a range of travel grant opportunities to support participation in its 30th Anniversary Conference, Building an Architecture of Inclusion, taking place in Brussels, Belgium, from 5–7 October 2026. The conference will bring together disability support providers, policymakers, researchers and representatives of people with disabilities from across Europe to explore how we can build a society where people with disabilities enjoy the same choices and opportunities as everyone else.
To help organisations attend, EASPD is offering financial support through two grant schemes: the DIGIT-ABLE Travel Grant and the EASPD Member Grants. Further information on the eligibility criteria and how to apply can be found below.
DIGIT-ABLE Travel Grants
The Driving Digital Transition for Social Enterprises for Inclusion (DIGIT-ABLE) Project is offering travel grants of up to €600 to organisations wishing to take part in one of the following study visits, taking place within the EASPD conference:
- Study Visit 1: Building inclusion through technology, collaboration and person-centred support in West Flanders
- Study Visit 2: Driving inclusive employment using digital and technological innovation in Leuven
Further information can be found on Day 2 of the event programme here.
Eligible organisations:
- Social enterprises such as WISEs and service providers (with special focus on those providing services for persons with disabilities and disadvantaged groups)
- Enabling organisations (entities that support and promote the development and functioning of the proximity and social economy ecosystem)
Established in one of the eligible countries:
- EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories - OCTs)
- Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Serbia, Türkiye, Moldova and Ukraine.
How to apply
Organisations interested in participating (including financial support) must apply via this form. Those wishing to attend the wider EASPD conference must also register here. Notification of results will be between 7-11 September 2026.
Further information:
- A grant is provided only once to each organisation, regardless the number of participants of the organisations.
- Participants are required to attend for the entire day and must sign the attendance list.
- The same organisation cannot receive DIGIT-ABLE financial support multiple times. Therefore, organisations that have already received a grant for another event are not eligible.
- Applying for DIGIT-ABLE financial support does not mean an entitlement to receive a grant.
All information about the visits and the terms and conditions for the DIGIT-ABLE financial support can be found in the Call for Financial Support for Organisations - Transnational Activities in Belgium - Guidelines for Applicants.
