Shaping a future-proof social economy sector

Within the framework of the DIGIT-ABLE project, EASPD Member ADV Romania invites social enterprises, service providers, and social economy organisations to apply to participate in a Transnational Study Visit and Peer-learning Seminar in Iași, Romania, in May 2026.
Organisations from across Europe will have the opportunity to explore practical approaches to digitalisation and strengthen cooperation between the social economy and the technology sector.

Participants will attend the fourth edition of the European Conference “Enterprising for Tomorrow”, focused on the future of the social economy. The topics addressed will include digital transformation, skills development, financing social enterprises, impact measurement, and European policy trends.
A DIGIT-ABLE seminar will take place at the conference, focusing on digitalisation and human resources development in social economy organisations. It will encourage participants to share experiences, lessons learned, and practical solutions from different European contexts.

On the following day, participants will join a study visit to social enterprises within the ADV Romania Group and to the Digital Innovation Zone, part of the regional digital innovation ecosystem. The visit will showcase how digital tools and innovation processes are applied in practice, as well as opportunities to engage directly with social enterprise practitioners, technology experts, and innovation stakeholders.
Who can apply
Social enterprises, service providers, and social economy enabling organisations based in EU Member States or countries participating in the EU Single Market Programme. Applications close on 29 February 2026 at 23:59 CET.
Financial Support
Selected organisations may receive financial support of up to 430 EUR in the form of a lump-sum contribution to help cover the costs related to participation in the transnational activities.
