Registrations now open for the 2026 ‘Building an inclusive school for all’ training in Madrid

Registrations are open for the 2026 edition of the Building an Inclusive School for All training course. the event will take place at the Museo Tiflológico de la ONCE in central Madrid, Spain, from 19 to 24 April 2026. The week-long programme aims to strengthen the knowledge and practical skills of teachers, school staff, trainers and service providers committed to fostering inclusive education.
The programme is coordinated by the Member Forum on Education of EASPD and delivered by a consortium of European organisations and universities dedicated to advancing inclusive education.
Programme
The aim of the course is to develop and promote inclusive education. Participants will engage with key themes including: the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities; the Index for Inclusion; universal Design for Learning; co-teaching methodologies; a study visit to a local school showcasing inclusive practices; strategic planning and change management.
The course will combine information sessions with interactive discussions, peer support groups and reflective activities. The training will be delivered in English.
An online welcome session will also take place on Wednesday 1 April 2026, from 12:00 to 14:00, providing an introduction to the course and an opportunity to learn more about the programme and ask questions.
Registration and Fees
A total of 30 places are available and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
The participation fee, which includes all training sessions, lunches, coffee breaks and one group dinner, is €150 for lower-GDP countries and €350 for higher-GDP countries.
