Money Carer's award-winning innovations foster financial inclusion

Winning the Financial Inclusion Award at the 2025 Card and Payments Awards was a major milestone for Money Carer, reinforcing the organisation's commitment to making financial services more accessible for vulnerable individuals.
Money Carer has created a banking and case management platform, Monika, and is developing more inclusive contactless payment devices and wearable technology. These devices include a range of rings, synthetic bracelets, and keyrings, designed to provide secure and accessible payment solutions for those who may struggle with traditional bank cards. By removing the need for handling cash or bank cards, these devices make everyday transactions simpler and more accessible.
Additionally, Money Carer's biometric payment cards use fingerprint authentication technology instead of a traditional PIN number. This enhances security for users and promotes independence, safeguarding those who may be unable to remember a PIN or are at risk of sharing their bank card with others.
These innovations align with EASPD’s broader goals of promoting independence and dignity for individuals with disabilities. Money Carer plans to work with EASPD members by providing access to these innovations and solutions in line with the organisations aim to enhance financial inclusion.
