Inclusive education in action: Lessons and tools from the ACT-INCLUSIVE project

ACT-INCLUSIVE Final Conference will explore new approaches and perspectives to make mainstream schools more inclusive.

In-person RegistrationOnline Registration

Inclusive education is a human right, yet many schools across Europe are still struggling to make it a reality for all children. After three years of collaboration across six countries (Belgium, Cyprus, France, Hungary, Slovenia, Spain), the ACT-INCLUSIVE project invites you to its Final Conference to explore new approaches, tools, and perspectives on how to make mainstream schools more inclusive.

When: 12 November 2025, 13:00 – 17:30
Format: In-person (Brussels) & Online. The event will offer simultaneous interpretation between English, Spanish, French, and Slovenian
Address: Mundo Madou, Avenue des Arts 7-8, 1210 Saint-Josse-Ten-Noode

This half-day event will present the project’s key outcomes, including a set of interactive tools designed to pilot and improve inclusive education in mainstream schools: a Comic book on inclusive communication for teenagers, a Toolbox with non-formal activities promoting inclusiveness, and a Training and awareness manual designed as a roadmap for the school staff to inclusive education.

You will hear directly from teachers, students, and project partners about their experiences, challenges, and solutions. A representative from the European Commission will join the discussions, underlining the importance of inclusive education at the EU level.

The event will close with networking drinks and the opportunity to explore the exhibition of artworks by students, “What does inclusion mean to me?”.

The conference is open to anyone with an interest in education, inclusion, and Children's Rights – whether you are a teacher, policymaker, service provider, employee of an NGO, or simply curious to learn more.
