DIGIT-ABLE's Transnational Focus Group explores solutions to bridge the digital divide

The DIGIT-ABLE Transnational Focus Group explored best practices and solutions to boost the digital transition of social economy enterprises.

Building on the groundwork laid by the B-WISE Erasmus+ Blueprint project, DIGIT-ABLE takes a leap forward. The project addresses the barriers that prevent Work Integration Social Enterprises (WISEs) and service providers for persons with disabilities from accessing advanced digital tools and technologies.

In this context, the DIGIT-ABLE consortium organised a Transnational Focus Group to discuss the results of four focus groups held at national level, in the project partners’ countries (Belgium, the Netherlands, Romania, and Spain).

This online workshop aimed to identify good practices and solutions to tackle the digital divide, as well as boosting the digital transition of social economy enterprises by bringing together WISEs, service providers focusing on supporting persons with disabilities, tech organisations, and other relevant local innovators that have been mapped as part of an earlier research phase.

The findings of this Focus Group will ultimately support the consortium in the development of the Digital Innovation Training Programme.
