Civil Society organisations call for reforms in public procurement to achieve sustainable development goals

This week the Internal Market and Consumer Protection Committee of the European Parliament exchanged views on the upcoming revision of the Public Procurement Directive. EASPD, together with a coalition of social and environmental civil society organisations, social economy organisations, and trade unions, “the Network for Sustainable Development in Public Procurement (NSDPP)”, sent a letter to the MEPs of the European Parliament working on this file to prioritise sustainability, social justice, and transparency in the upcoming revision of the public procurement directives.
