CEB Award 2025: spotlighting innovation and social cohesion
The Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) has announced the launch of its 2025 CEB Award for Social Cohesion, an initiative dedicated to recognising and rewarding remarkable contributions to social cohesion across its member countries. This competition aims to spotlight projects that are driving positive change through innovation and inclusion, particularly for vulnerable groups.
In a tangible show of support to social entrepreneurs and social economy organisations, the amount of the prize was increased from €25,000 to €45,000. In addition, two additional shortlisted projects will receive €5,000 each.
Eligible nominees include individuals, NGOs, social enterprises, and community groups from CEB member countries, with projects required to be at least in the early stages of implementation. The overarching theme of social cohesion will be assessed on impact, sustainability, and innovation or replicability.
Applications are open until 3 January 2025. For more details, visit the how to apply page.
The shortlist of eligible nominees will be announced on 3 March 2025, and the winners will be celebrated at an award ceremony on 3 April 2025 in Budva, Montenegro.
