About the project

The Horizon Europe project INSPIRE promotes wellbeing for residents of rural areas across Europe. Through advanced research, policy solutions, and on-the-ground interventions, INSPIRE aims to strengthen social inclusion and improves access to social services. A key component of the project is empowering local communities, especially vulnerable groups, by establishing Smart Village Labs in seven pilot areas, promoting social entrepreneurship and participatory governance.

Project Pilot Cases

The Smart Village Labs will serve as hubs for nurturing social entrepreneurship and boosting inclusive governance. They will not only pilot new approaches to social services but also serve as models for broader rural development strategies across Europe.
