Assistive Technology: From policy to practice

During this webinar, we will discuss how social care service providers can translate high-level objectives into supportive approaches. Further questions we look to answer include how the policies aimed at the digitalisation of society will impact the sector and what can service providers do to support their clients and, at the same time, claim their role as key actors in modern caring societies?

14:00 to 15:30

Assistive Technology plays an important role in initiatives of organisations like the WHO, the WIPO and networks such as AAATE and GAATO. The European Commission, in its recently launched Disability Strategy 2020-2030, has embraced Digital Accessibility as the main gateway to an inclusive society.
