Please note that this event is open to EASPD members only.

On 6 May 2026, the European Commission adopted an enhanced Strategy for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities up to 2030. This refreshed roadmap brings a welcome focus on delivery and measurable impact, with new actions spanning independent living, quality of services, assistive technologies, education and employment.

As a key partner in this process, EASPD is committed to turning these European initiatives into local realities.

Our Policy Café will explore the enhanced Strategy alongside a representative from the European Commission. Together, we will discuss how our network can bridge the gap between policy and practice to ensure this Strategy leads to high-quality, person-centred support systems that make true inclusion a reality.
