We must take concrete steps to transform services into person-centered models that empower individuals, while positioning service providers as key drivers of this shift toward a human rights-based approach.

Harnessing AI and ICT to for inclusive education for neurodiverse learners

A teacher teaching in a classroom by using AI tools.

Join to learn more about UNESCO's recent study on the role of AI in supporting inclusion in education.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) are increasingly embedded in our daily lives and education is no exception. When used effectively, these technologies, including generative AI, social robots and adaptive learning platforms, can increase inclusion for learners with autism, ADHD and learning difficulties.

Technology alone does not create inclusive learning environments, however and more is needed to support its use and uptake, enabling it to reach its full potential and support all learners to be included in classrooms, both in-person and online.

Our last ADEDU webinar will present UNESCO’s recent study, 'Use of AI and ICT to Support Inclusion of Learners with Autism, ADHD, and Learning Difficulties: From Innovation to Inclusion', and will explore how AI and ICT can be used strategically to advance inclusive education.

The webinar will:

  • Present key findings from UNESCO’s global study on AI and inclusion;
  • Introduce the 6Ps + 4Cs framework as a strategic tool for planning and implementing inclusive technology use;
  • Introduce key tools that can support the inclusion of learners with Autism, ADHD, and Learning Difficulties in education settings.
