Introducing the EU Guidance on Independent Living: Stakeholders' Initial Reactions

Join this webinar to learn about the new European Commission Guidance on Independent Living and how it can support your work.

The European Commission has launched its Guidance on independent living and inclusion in the community of persons with disabilities. The guidance provides practical recommendations to Member States on using EU funding to accelerate the transition from institutional care to community-based services and independent living for persons with disabilities..

The Guidance covers:

  • The EU’s practical understanding of independent living

  • Policy Orientations for the use of EU Funds

  • Transforming principles to actions

  • Support from EU Funds

  • Monitoring Progress

In response to the publication COFACE Families Europe, EASPD, EDF, Eurochild, ENIL, and Inclusion Europe invite you to an online webinar on 11 December at 14:00 CET.
