Trade fair and workshop fair for persons with disabilities in Nuremberg, Germany


Our member, Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft Werkstätten für Behinderte Menschen (BAG:WfbM) is organising a trade fair on vocational rehabilitation and an exhibition on workshops for persons with disabilities on 18 to 21 April 2018.

It will be held in Nuremberg, Germany.  The event hopes to showcase the importance of workshops for persons with disabilities in our society, achievements and visions behind the term "inclusion". The entrance fee is €9 and €6 for persons with disabilities.

2018 Forum of EURECO


On March 13, EASPD together with the Centre for Planning and Evaluation of Social Services (ZPE) at the University of Siegen will be hosting a Joint Research Forum 2018 of the "European research platform for inclusive community planning and service development for people with disabilities (EURECO).

Vacancy: Events and Communication Officer


EASPD is looking for a Communication and Events officer. 

As per the requirements of the funding scheme, the person should not be older than 26 years, a EU citizen living in Belgium and the person should be searching for its first paid job.

Zero Project announces awardees for 2018


The Zero Project has announced the best innovative practices and policies in 2018 in the area of accessibility. 

Among the awardees are our observers, Plena Inclusión and Beit Issie Shapiro.

Beit Issie Shapiro, a non-profit organisation in Israel was awarded for replicating fully accessible and inclusive playgrounds throughout the country. The project began in 2006 and by 2016, more than 500 children with disabilities have used them.
