A “hot” winter

The new year is up and running and EASPD has resumed some of the most important files for the months to come. Many of the funding programmes of the next EU budget will enter into a debate with the representatives of the Member States of the European Union. The discussions will be crucial to determine the scope and the entity of the funds on issues such as long-term care, individualised and community-based support and investment into adequate and accessible support systems.

Social Services Europe is holding an event to present their most recent research on Work Life balance

Social Services Europe is holding an event to present their most recent research study on improving Work Life Balance (WLB) through enabling social services. This research study is framed within the European Commission’s call for a WLB directive and showcases how social service providers are key to implement and ensure the right to suitable leave, flexible working arrangements and access to care services for parents and people with caring responsibilities (principle 9 of the European Pillar of Social Rights).
