A new ERASMUS + project on Inclusive Arts was launched on the 15 and 16th November in Cork, Ireland.
The project “Creative Inclusion in Adult Education” is coordinated by Cope Foundation (Ireland) and includes in the partnership EASPD, EASPD members L’Adapt (France) and Scuola Viva Onlus (Italy) and also the European Network of Cultural Centres (Belgium) and Cork Institute of Technology (Ireland).
The project will explore the current environment of arts education for adults with disabilities. It will include a review of significant EU framework and recommendations to improve it, examples of best practices on education of inclusive arts, guidelines for educators and arts practictioners and the development of a Knowledge Center in Inclusive Arts Education.
The project will also count with a conference in Brussels to present the recommendations, guidelines and best practices produced and with an international conference in Cork in 2019 to close the project.
