List of provider fora in Bulgaria
From June 8th until June 10th, 2016, in Golden Sands Resort, Varna, a National Forum / Exhibition “Social Services, Employment and Development” organised by National Alliance for Social Responsibility (NASO) in partnership with the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, the European Association of Service Providers for Persons with Disabilities (EASPD), the National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria and the Municipality of Varna took place. The event was joined by social service representatives, local, regional and national authorities, NGOs, employers, persons with disabilities.View the full report here.
NATIONAL PROVIDER FORUM
With the support of National alliance for social responsibility (NASO), the main goal of the event was to invite service provider organisations, their managers and/or presidents, also authorities on local, regional and national level and bring them together for a joint event.
The forum addressed topics such as the European Semester process, innovation in the sector in Bulgaria, the European and national partnership. In addition, some participants shared good practices on how to develop support services with the involvement of users. The forum also address other important topics for the sector such as the funding of support services, the adequate use of structural funds to invest on human resources development.
Finally participants addressed employment by highlighting the importance of the corporate social responsibility and social entrepreneurship as an important resource for providing employment opportunities for people with disabilities and other disadvantaged persons.

NATIONAL PROVIDER FORUM
The Ninth National Forum of Social Service Providers took place in Golden Sands, Varna from June 11 to 13, 2014. The event was organized by NASO and with the support of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, National Association of Municipalities in Bulgaria and EASPD. The agenda of the Forum this year included three days dedicated to the good practices in the social services in Bulgaria and Europe, quality standards for social services and implementation of innovative services.
The main goal was exchange of experience, knowledge, skills and good practice in important matters related with people with disabilities, social services and labour employment. Besides the general and final discussions on NASO and NASO members projects, proposals for social services quality standards and implementation of supported employment as an innovative service were submitted to the respective governmental authorities.

REGIONAL PROVIDER FORA
EASPD participated in several seminars organised by Bulgarian regional service provider organisations:

EASPD also organised, in cooperation with Bulgarian associations (the Agency for Social Development –VISION- and NASO), a provider forum in Burgas and another one in Varna under the project “New Services for Employment”. These two provider fora were attended by EASPD’s Secretary General, Luk Zelderloo, EASPD’s Board member, James Crowe and EASPD’s Executive member and Treasurer, Bernadette Grosyeux.

The National Alliance for Social Responsibility (NASO) is a Bulgarian umbrella organization for local authorities, service providers, NGOs and employers from the regular labor market. NASO provides an extensive of possibilities for partnership, exchange of experience and implementation of good practices. The 8th National Forum of Social Service Providers was held on June 4 to 6, 2013, in Golden Sands - Varna, Bulgaria. The event was organized by the National Alliance for Social Responsibility /NASO/ in partnership with the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy /MLSP/, the National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria, the European Association of Service Providers for Persons with Disabilities /EASPD/ and the National Federation of Employers of Disabled. The Forum has been carried out for the eighth consecutive year.
The 2013 edition was dedicated to “European partnership for more successful transition from school to employment”. The Forum’s topic garnered more than 15 experts from 10 countries, representatives of European organizations and social service providers - BITSE project partners, and more than 170 participants, representatives of social service provider organizations, employers, municipalities and local governments and all institutions in the country concerned with the issues of social services and people with disabilities.
